Person Following Robot

Differential-drive robot with Raspberry Pi AI Camera (IMX500) running COCO person detection entirely on-chip. No cloud, no external compute. Centroid-based steering maintains following distance at walking pace.

AprilTag Navigation Robot

Hybrid IR line-following + AprilTag waypoint robot. Tags on the floor encode turn/stop decisions. A custom-built website lets you plan routes visually and assign IDs to actions — no reprogramming needed.

ESP32-hosted web server with a live multi-device queue UI, 16×32 LED matrix display (custom font), and FIFO logic supporting multiple counter points simultaneously — no app install required.

Water Level Monitoring Node

Fully off-grid IIoT node — flyback solar panel + LiPo battery, ESP32, ultrasonic distance sensor, RTC for accurate timestamps, and ThingSpeak cloud logging. Live mobile app shows level, trends, and alerts.

Metal Composition Detector

Motorised rotating camera rig captures panoramic images of metal labels. OpenCV stitches frames, EasyOCR extracts composition text, and a custom Edge Impulse ML model classifies alloy grade — fully local on RPi.

Gesture Recognition Module

MediaPipe Hands tracks 21 landmarks per frame. Four distinct gestures map to control commands. Packaged as a reusable, hardware-agnostic module with a web interface — plug into any robot or app without code changes.

LBPH face recogniser identifies enrolled individuals via webcam and delivers personalised, time-aware greetings. Built for Sri City International University entry. Repeat suppression avoids spamming.

Index finger tip tracked via MediaPipe Hands draws strokes on a persistent OpenCV canvas overlaid on the camera feed. Colour palette and brush size selected by fingertip dwell — completely touchless at 30+ fps.
